I have never edited under another account, and I do not use an alternate account.

I've been targeted by drive-by vandals on Meta 6 times.

"It is human to forget things a long time after not using them."

It would go a long way for abuse filter messages to guide users who may be triggering those filters with good-faith edits.

"If you are bored of being on Wikimedia, find another hobby."

I won't be fighting vandalism for now on English Wikipedia. I will however be trying to stop LTA 404.

My father thinks that I got blocked on Wikipedia simply because I wrote this article at the age of 11.

Formula for adminship readiness

Dealing with an abuse of power

Dealing with an abuse of power is perhaps one of the most taxing things that can happen on Wikimedia.

Dos

  • File a U4C case on Meta
  • Provide extensive corroboration
  • Go through sanctions
  • Use neutral language
  • Remain calm
  • Assume good faith with time

Don'ts

  • Push your issue to non-Meta wikis other than the original wiki
  • Leave without resolution
  • Fear sanctions
  • Use biased language
  • Use accusatory language
    • "harass" for past incidents
  • Start with assumptions of bad faith, especially without telling them to stop

My way of sanction times

Just to clarify, I am not an administrator anywhere. I do not want to wear any hats anywhere unless I absolutely need them.
